After a year in a professional photography school in Geneva, he spent 5 years at the Institut d'Arts Visuels in Orléans where he made his first film Filming Muybridge, based on photographs of the decomposition of movement taken by Edweard Muybridge.
Director of documentaries with the INA, then for cultural magazines with ARTE (Métropolis, Dessous des cartes) he also directed several short fiction films but also documentaries.

Aya (Marie-Josée Kokora) was born and raised on the island of Lahou, about fifty kilometers from Abidjan. She lives there with her mother and her little brother, to the rhythm of the sea, that of the waves, which rock and erase. Because the sea is gradually eating away at the land. Its beach disappears. Of the city known to his elders, only crumbs remain, just a village, a few fishing boats, and a cemetery, the graves of which are emptied day after day.
This film has already received numerous awards such as the Grand Prix du Jury - Ciné Junior, the Prize for Best Director at the Festival du Film de Demain de Vierzon, the Cinevox Prize & Prize for Best Interpretation of the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur and many others.
